Text flow on dreamweaver 8 homepage

Guys,
 Am using dreamweaver 8 to design a website for e-COMMERCE and i want to add text flowing from left to right horizontally on the homepage and slide show image on the product page.Any help would be highly appreaciated,many thanks.

Check out jQuery and in particular functions such as animate().  You really need javascript knowledge for this kind of thing (or Flash).
