Quake 2 online issues :(

OLDFRAME and occasionally OLDPARSE come up on the left hand side of the screen while on an online server, as well as old school internet(phone) cable disconnect logo at very top(left side of screen as well)...can anyone PLEEEZ help?

Try running the game in window mode instead of full screen. Also, make sure nothing is running in the background utilizing your Internet connection.

Also, try decreasing your maxfps rate if you've increased it. For example, try setting to 30

set cl_maxfps 30
