    I downthrottled using AMD Overdrive, put mobo speed from 200 mhz to 100 mhz and cpu multiplier from 20x to 10x.
    Then i heard static in my headphones and the screen froze so i rebooted it says NTLDR MISSING, CTRLALTDELETE TO RESTART

    Usually one would put the win7 cd, but i don't have a dvd reader on this computer, though i have one on another computer, but it's running XP.

    Is my only choice burning win7 from the other computer?

    You install a CD reader.

      For anyone looking at this from Google, what i did was;
      burn the win7 image on a usb key using "windows 7 usb/dvd download tool" by microsoft inc.
      put the usb key in my damaged computer
      then go in repair option

      Please clarify some details.
      You are running Windows 7  and it was OK.
      You used a AMD utility to cut the  speed for 200 to 100 Mhz.
      Is that information correct?
      Windows 7 can not run at that speed.
      Why did you do that?
      The message may not be valid.

        Windows 7 can not run at 200 MHz. One ghz or higher is needed to run windows 7 2 ghz I think to run the 64 version.
        NTLDR is a windows xp bootloader. did you install the windows xp bootloader?

        Some utter nonsense being talked about clock speeds, and did anybody actually read the original post?
