Editing a .pdf file without the Adobe program

I have a .pdf file that I would like to edit and I checked on the internet to see what free programs were available that would do that and came up with this one:  PDF Editor 9.0   Are any of you familiar with this program to know whether it is first,  a safe download, and secondly, how well does it work?  Or do you have one that you have found that works well.  It is so seldom that I'd need to do this that it really isn't feasible for me to get the full Adobe program to do this.

I've heard good things about Cute PDF Editor.

Good find...but i didn't have time to test it...however it should be pointed out that's an Online editor...which some may be a bit leery of...

At any rate here are 3 that are out there...i only used the 2nd one as i don't have a daily need for it and it worked well...

Note The 1st one listed is only free for 100 days...but that should be long enough to edit away.
Thes are all programs rather than an online option of editing.
