Mouse Dragging

This is my first time to do this, but here I go:
I am having trouble with the mouse. I go to drag a object and it will not do it. What do I need to do ???

Sanders:

Check the settings in the Mouse and Accessibility applets of the Control Panel.  

If the settings are OK, make sure the mouse is firmly plugged in to the PS/2 port.

If neither of these suggestions work, buy a new mouse (i prefer a mouse that uses a light instead of a ball because i don't have to clean it; wireless mice are also nice).

When did this problem start? Is this an old mouse? Can you borrow someone else's mouse for 5 minutes?

It could have been so simple that he needed to use the Left mouse button too. Never underestimate a person simply because they can type!
