saving photos to DVD disk

Running win XP media center.  How do I save photos to DVD+rw.  An error on my system comes up with no detail.  Will only allow me to save to a CD, any answers

Use proper media, DVD+R/W is not the same as DVD-R/W.

DVD+rw is the media required for my system.  It has worked when I saved movie files.  The "My Pictures" file will allow only a CD save to on the drop down box.

    Joe1970park.....Well , typically one wouldnt save jpgs to a dvd ......movie files yes ......but jpgs should be on a cd .
