error d0000452. computer won't boot.

One day, I turned on my computer and it would not start. It went through auto repair, nothing. I did the refresh option, nothing. It said there is no bootable device. Eventually it said that the error was d0000452. I have seen some repair things to download (that I found on my kindle) but I can't turn the computer on to download them. I need help. Thanks.

You will need to use another computer to download them and try them on your computer or try using the Repair Disc to repair the OS.

The OP could please provide more details about his computer. What type is nit? Did it have other problems? Was untrusted software downloaded?

In only a few cases the symptom can be a fielded CMOS battery, but that is unlikely on a new computer.

It is a gateway computer and this is the first problem ever. My computer us only 3 1/2 months old

If it is under warranty, (and it surely is) you should be contacting the seller.

Do NOT Google "Windows error d0000452" and download a "fix" from a number of identical sites.
