Now that I got the new drive running, and named it D. I added one folder to it, with my name on it. Clicking the problem "folder" takes me to my D drive, and if I try to restore it to it's previous location, it gives me an error. Right now. If I delete it, nothing will happen, because I can just go back and re install my second drive as D. But It won't uninstall. Well, I still need to try the uninstall program that was mentioned earlier.

Downloaded and fought of my antivirus not wanting me to download the Unlocker. Only downloaded it because I saw CNET and trust them. I saw no option to use it for one particular item, and so, being willing to just start everything from scratch, if absolutely necessary, I just let it do everything it wanted to do. That File is still there. I do have to log into everything that I was previously logged into again, though.

You don't trust CNET? If I had anything on this computer other than the basic programs, and some I added, I would not be downloading willy nilly, but what have I got to loose at this point? A few more hours of tweeking, maybe.

in the explorer, on the left column, right under "This PC" is listed D:\.

I changed the drive letter of the disk to x, and broke the link. It was still there and when I changed it back to D, it works again. It is definately a link to the D data drive, but it is sure in a confusing location.

It may help if you can get a screenshot
Crop and save it as a good JPG. Place it you next post  as an attachment.
That way others can see what  you see.
Here is one way to make a screenshot in Windows 8
Snipping Tool to capture screen shots

I think a screenshot would be worth 1000 words here. I think I know what you are saying but there could also be other details shown in an image that you don't think are significant.

Based on what you've said, it sounds to me like this item is appearing within your "Libraries" folder? Does it (or rather, did it- soulds like you've sinced wiped the drive) look similar to what I've managed to recreate in this image? (in this case I used a Drive G:)

If it is similar to that than you managed to add the drive to one of the libraries. It would also be consistent with what you mentioned in some later replies.

I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

I have found placed on the web that show how to use the registry edit, to remove those folders, but they give a list of the ones that everyone has, and I have all of those but no others, so that was a dead end. I think I will just give up and reinstall the system. I have spent more time trying to save time, than it is worth. Thank for all your help.
