I have a range of data in cells A1 to G8 and sixteen more, all the same, going down the SS.
I've "named" each range so that I can use the drop-down arrow in the "name box" to bring up the required data range.
When I do, the named range apears at the bottom of my screen which seems silly to me  ::)
Does anyone know how to make the named range appear at the top?

I believe you will have to use a VBA macro to do that.  For a reference on this, see http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/make-excel-view-show-active-cell-in-top-left-with-vba.3113591/
