I enter BIOS it stops responding.
Its a serious hardware issue when this happens.
First option.... clear Reset BIOS config to undo any potential overclocks etc that could destabilize the system. If problem remains with default bios config then continue.
You will need to perform process of elimination to isolate the issue to a specific piece of hardware such as disconnect all drives and see if the problem goes away. If it remains then disconnect the video card and use integrated video if this is an option. If its still a problem with BIOS locking up then remove all RAM and insert a single stick of RAM. If its still acting up. Remove that stick and place another into it. If its still acting up. Move that RAM stick to a different RAM slot. If its still acting up, swap out the power supply. If its still acting up at this point, get a replacement motherboard and remove all your components. If problem remains with new motherboard and all hardware except for the CPU has been swapped then last option is a CPU replacement, however CPU's are very rarely defective.
Note: The RAM test above assumes that the system is not healthy enough to run memtest86. If you can get it to boot to memtest86 then go that route instead. If it locks up running or attempting to boot memtest86 then you will have to go the memory test as described above.
