Symantec has dumped the Sygate Firewall.  :(
Anyone who wants a copy should grab it now, Version 5.5-2710 is the best.  :)

What about updates? Do they run updates for Sygate? I like Zone-Alarm  ;)

Why would anyone need to update a perfectly good firewall?  :D
I bet Symantec bought it & dropped it to eliminate the competition.

That is truly their history. It dates back to XTree. Anyone remember that one?

I loved Xtree, remember you could tag a bunch of files and copy them all, and the prune, and the floppy spanning. XT was the first thing I typed at the dos prompt which probably accounts for my lack of dos knowledge.

Well then you would be thrilled with ZTree for Windows. I love it on my Windows box! Free to try.

Is it so that windows is like fort knox.........so why does it need a third-party software.........i just love windows users who stand by it.......but have third-party software to back it up.........to counter the flaws in it....

What the heck is Xtree? You're showing your age.

XTree...most powerful File Management program ever written...
I've been able to tweak it to run in all Win OS flavors up to and including WinXP Pro SP2...
Anyone interested can PM me for instructions.
