My laptop has no line-in port for sound

I have a Toshiba laptop (TE2100) and the sound card ports are only for microphone and headphones (i.e. line out).  I need a line-in port in order to plug in my stereo amplifier and digitally record music.  Is there an external device that will solve this, or do I need a new computer?  Thanks....
