    halp monitor only with vga and my v.card don't hava vga

    i have 24inch 2 years old Chinese monitor that have only vga connection. I have rx460 video card. i buy this (https://goo.gl/KVXooy) displayport vga adapter and that don't work. i want to buy this adapter (http://s.aliexpress.com/QzyABbUR) and I want to ask if this adapter will work for me?

    This is covered here... the issue is that the DVI-D on this video card is lacking legacy VGA support which most DVI-I's support. There is a link to solution here at link above.

      If possible, buy an adapter at  a local store that allows returns and refunds.
      Walmart and Best Buy have VGA converters.

      update to my earlier suggestion... wasnt able to follow your links and assumed you were going from DVI to VGA, your actually going HDMI to VGA. With this converter connected at boot and monitor connected to VGA, it should just work. Do you have the latest driver installed for that video card... if using a generic driver that the system is using for the GPU its possible that the HDMI port is inactive due to lack of complete driver.
