lexmark printer (device not found)

I dont know whats wrong with my lexmark 1150 printer
or how to get it running again when i plug in my usb port my computer doesnt say "new device found".I cant install the drivers if the printer cant be found the usb works with other things but not the printer URGENT HELP.

what you have done is nothing new in a hurry to have a printer etc running.......first you load the software in all cases then attach the hardware printer/camera/joystick/scannner etc reverse what you have done ..end of problem.. the operating system of what you have helps..
