Two problems with windows laptop

Hi there,

I can't find any information that would help, so decided to write here.

1. Once I close my laptop lid my PC hibernates, but let's say if I want to open my lid and start laptop from hibernate mode sometimes (actually quite often) it won't turn on (only black screen) and I have to force laptop with power  button to shutdown, then I am able to start my laptop. Is this problem related to windows or hardware?

2. Every time after shutdown all desktop icons are mixed together and not placed as it was before shutdown.

How to fix above problems?

Windows 10 64x Education
laptop -  GL702VT

Some laptops & SSD drives do not support hibernate.
