Microsoft Removed All the card games from Windows 10.
Windows 10 instead adds the "Microsoft Solitaire collection" a new "App" included with Windows 10. This includes most of the same card games. However, this time around, the program is infested with ads unless you pay for a "subscription". That last aspect may be why, when upgrading, the existing Card games are wholly removed from your system without asking. Somewhat unscrupulous if you ask me.
Thankfully, as Geek-9pm said, you can copy *most* of those card games- Freecell for example- from a previous install of Windows. However, this primarily applies to XP. You can't copy the WIndows Vista or Windows 7 versions of those programs over and have them function.
There is a "third party" package/installer that installs these programs onto Windows 10. you can find it
here. I have it installed and as far as I was able to determine at that time, it is legitimate and doesn't install anything questionable, but your mileage may vary.
