Switching from Millenium to XP
« on: January 01, 2006, 11:59:42 AM »
Hello - I just signed up/found this site today, so please forgive mistakes.  I have an approx. 5-7  year old Toshiba Satellite laptop with ME - would like to learn/print instructions on how to wipe out ME in order to install XP - has 256RAM (I could add) 14gb hd - ok for what its used for - thank you for your patience.  Tina

    The short version...
Set your cdrom as the 1st boot device in bios.
Boot your computer with the xp disk in the cdrom.
