    Multimedia Devices icon in devices and printers

    In Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers , there is all this icons which multiply like rabbits.
    What are they? Why so many there and more I use my PC, more of them. How to stop that happening? Do I need the for PC to work properly?

      When you install Netgear Genie on Windows PC, it enables a media server named "Genie Media Server - SimpleDMS", which allows DLNA enabled devices to playmedia from that PC
