I bought a used Dell desktop with a male display port but my LCD only has a DVI port. I know there is an adapter because I looked them up on line. However, now I see a few terms like bi-directional and Uni-directional? Which on do I need and what do those terms mean?? Do I need to be concerned about these two terms? I just need to do some basic viewing on occasionally watch a dvd of video on line.
