    Adding older software to WIN7

On my first WIN7 pc,  I went into the registry so that WIN7 would ignore older software, not give any warning etc.   I don't remember how to do that now with a slightly newer WIN7 pc.  Any clues out there would be helpful.

Windows 7 is on the way out. But there is no lack of articles about how to use it.
    You can just Google it.
    Or search You Tube.
    And try the CH archives.
