.dll error whenever i turn on my pc
    « on: May 10, 2020, 05:30:49 AM »
I get a c:\windows\system32\wbem\wmiutils.dll error as soon as i start my pc. I haven't noticed any change in my pc's performance so i'm assuming it's not dangerous? Please help, thanks

That is part of the HP utilities that are installed by them...
Check on their Forums on how to update/re-install them without losing data...

Hi ... right-click your taskbar and go to task manager.
        Go to the startup tab.
Do you see anything related to HP?
If so click and disable it.

This may be an issue with a system file being corrupt.
You can try a couple of things.

Right-click your Start button and select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
In Command prompt type sfc /scannow and press enter.
        Restart the computer.

If that doesn't work then try this,

Right-click your Start button and select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.

In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands.
Press Enter key after each command:

        DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

        DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Important: When you run this command, DISM uses Windows Update to provide the files that are required to fix corruption.
To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type Exit, and then press Enter.
        Restart your computer.
