PC Hangs Up

Occasionally my PC will hang up causing me to do a hard boot. This usually happens when the PC sits for 15 minutes or so and sometimes when I am online.
Things I have done to fix it: reinstalled Windows 10 twice (Media Creation Tool), ran check disk, ran Rogue Killer, and ran Windows Diagnostics.

It sounds like your computer is going to sleep (low-power standby mode), but is not properly waking up.

If you want to disable sleep mode as a workaround:

* Open Settings. (In your Start menu, click the Gear icon (⚙️ ). Or, press the keyboard shortcut Win + i (hold down the Windows key and press the i key).
* Click "System."
* Click "Power & Sleep."
* Click "Additional power settings."
* Click "Change when the computer sleeps."
* Recommended: change "Put the computer to sleep" to "Never."
* Optional: click "Change advanced power settings" to view detailed power settings to review or modify.

OK, I did all that and thanks for the reply. I will see after I restart and try it for a while. Another thing happened as soon as I got to your site to say thanks my browser (MS Edge) went unresponsive for about a minute and the cursor spun. Maybe just a fluke but will keep an eye on it. Thanks again.

I used two different browsers and each one hung up while I was browsing and went unresponsive. I can see where my internet service might be involved here but it also goes unresponsive when I'm on the desktop.  Thanks

It looks from the report that you are using Windows generic drivers not the Acer drivers.

The acer drivers are available from here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/ID/content/support

I realizes Acers factory restore loads a lot of bloatware. Often it is better to use Acers image for your Laptop and un install the bloatware. This gets everything working optimally especially with a laptop with duel graphics adapters.

Ok thanks. I also tried my Acer model number Aspire E 15 but that only took me back to the forum. I will try again to find the Acer Drivers downloads.

This is apparently for another device. I followed the advice but I found no power mgmt. Option when I right-clicked.

I located the correct number on the bottom of the Laptop. I have a list of drivers but which should I download? See attachment.

Chipset 1st..reboot...then all others...Windows will ignore all those not needed.
