JPEG and GIF image problems
« on: February 09, 2006, 06:25:09 AM »
:-/For a project i am doing, i searched on web pages for some pictures.  I right clicked and saved the pictures, like normal and chose what file i wanted them saved to.  I named them, but, since they were all ny1 and ny2 etc i noticed when i clicked the save option only some would come in at a time.  When i went to browse the pictures i had saved, i started looking and then all of a sudden, half of them were not there.  The file name was, yet when i clicked onto the picture it would just show a blank screen and a small dot right in the middle.  I found out that the pictures that had saved successfully were saved in JPEG format and the ones that didnt were saved in GIF format, why? How can i open these pictures, or will i have to start all over again?  In the future is there something i am supposed to do, to stop this from happening...please help, i am so confused with all of it
