Working on Facial Recognition on Gaming
    « on: June 02, 2023, 05:32:08 AM »
    Hi all,

I'm new to learning game development. Currently, I'm working on a game that requires facial recognition. That face must be captured in real-time through a phone camera.

On the internet, I found OpenCV happens to be the only one that would help me. But it is paid.

Can Could someone point me in the right direction? I'm willing to learn and try out different things, also searched the internet and found this for facial verification.

It'd be awesome if someone could point me in the right direction.

While I am unaware of any free methods other than programming it all from the ground up, I am curious how facial recognition would play into a game?

Do you need to scan the entire face or are you only scanning to a certain area of the face like what a persons eyes are focused on or mouth open or closed to catch food that is falling on their screen but take a penalty for opening their mouth to eat a rock?
