Question about a firewall on guest OS in Virtual Machine
    « on: July 23, 2023, 02:33:05 PM »
Once I am on guest OS in Virtual Machine (whether a VirtualBox, Vmvare, or something like that), do I have to turn the firewall on, or is it unnecessary if it is on in my host machine?

Rule of thumb is always have firewalls on and set exceptions when you need a software to have a rule to allow its communications no matter of local host or virtual system.
