For some reason, I had to remove the Virtual Machines folder from the Documents folder, and to my surprise, any OS on VMware still runs without problems.
My question: can I still run guest OS on Vmware that way? Or, sooner or later, would this have some consequences for my host (Windows 11)?

And this way, my hard drive used space would be about 90 GB less, which is good.

      Never mind  :)
I found the Virtual Machines folder by coincidence. It was still on my hard drive but on a different path within the One Drive folder. However, I removed it from my computer a couple of days ago because I never liked One Drive's presence on my PC.
Sometimes, things in the world may seem so illogical.
