The Sims-First timer

 :-? Hello all. I wondered, as a first time Sims player, this is kind of a dumb Q, but how do you turn your furniture around so it fits in the house on PC? I have some stuff, and it won't fit unless it's turned around. Please help. I'm not liking this game very much right now.  :'(

Click and hold on an object, and move your mouse left and right (depending on which direction you want). When it's in the right direction, just let go.
