Photoshop question
« on: August 24, 2004, 01:28:15 PM »
Hola... ;D....

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but in photoshop, when you adjust the pixels in an image, it automatically adjusts the size of the picture, right?  Like when you go to "Image" then "Image Size", under "pixel dimensions" and do your change there, the "document size" automatically changes according to the pixels.  Please advise, cause I have a customer who differs with me.  THANKS  ;)

You are both right AND you are both wrong. The image size changes, and if you save it, the new document size changes. However, if you do not save it, the displayed document size remains the same because the original is held so that if you "undo" it will revert to the original. Confusing, no.;D

    Joanylis.......You are correct......
you can change the image size by adjusting either the pixel dimensions or by changing the document sze.
The result is the same .......

    hope this answers your question.

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
