    Windows ME Service Pack CD
    « on: April 21, 2006, 11:31:37 AM »
Windows ME is installed on a P-III which will never be connected to the internet.  I have not been able to locate a Microsoft CD containing ME updates.  I know that Microsoft has Service Pack CDs for WinXP, Office 2003, Office XP, Office 2000 & Office 97.  Can anyone help me locate WinME updates on CD?

Why bother?  Most OS updates from Microsoft are to fix security issues that can arise from being online.  If you won't be using that computer online, don't worry about not getting the updates.

soybean is absolutely correct. If your computer does not need to connect to the Internet, you can use your computer without fear of not having a vital update.

Cheers, and happy computing. Windows ME, you say? Good luck. 8-)

Microsoft never provided such a service pack anyway.
