Boot help
« on: August 31, 2004, 05:15:21 PM »
???    I  am trying to boot up a Windows 98se cdrom.  I had Arklinux on my computer and I Repartioned the drive and tried to boot the CD, it will not boot.  So I made a Floppy Boot and it booted until I came to the A: prompt. I didnt know what to do so I restarted my computer.

Now I cant get back to the A: prompt!

It just skips my Floppy boot disk and the CDrom and goes to a blank screen witht the cursor at the top and I cant do anything.

If I take the floppy disk out it skips the Cdrom and goes to a Grub error (wich I assume is a Linux related.)

I have the floppy/cdrom/hddrive in order in the Bios. and I tried clearing CMos but it just does the same thing.  Goes to a blank screen with the cursor on top of screen.

plz help  Thanks
