I do use windows 98.
Each time if I start up there is a popup window "enter network password"
how can I remove this popup window???

Go to Start-->Programs-->Startup. Are there any programs listed there?

Does the popup appear once Win 98 is fully loaded? Or do you have to do something with it to get into Windows (and if so, what)?

If you are talking about disabling the WIndows Login screen, here is a simple tip to remove it. You can also just press ecape.

Another option as well would be to download and install TweakUI for Win98...
Lots of nice features and tweaks.
