I like YaBB. I know how to use it, I know how it functions, and I know its secure.

But I am making a family website, and I need to add a forum.

Is YaBB one of the easiest to use?

I've used phpBB but have not used YaBB, so I don't know how they compare.  But, I thought I'd mention the phpBB demo at http://www.phpbb.com/demo.php.  You can see how their Administrators Control Panel works.

By the way, I created a little family website about 15 months ago and put a forum in it.  Initially, five of my relatives registered and a few posted a very small number of messages.  But, as time went on, I was disappointed to see a lack of interest.  After about 6 months of no activity, I took the site down.  I hope you have a more satisfactory experience.

It looks about as easy to use as YaBB... I have used Mbhostings original forum which was PHPBB, but I didn't really like it. I will have to find some demo boards to see what they have.

Do you know how secure PHPBB is?
