Content Managers
« on: September 30, 2006, 04:42:43 PM »
I need a good content manager (not a forum) to handle, well, content and articles.

I am looking for something easy to use and set up. Password protection isn't needed, as its for a family site, and it already has password protection.

I am capable of running PHP, CGI, Perl, and most other major web applications.

Are you talking about an RSS news feed, something of that nature?  That seems a bit odd for a family website.

No...
More like a way to share news and articles... (and history)

(LOL! RSS Feed on a family website!)

>Plone<, >Mamboserver< and >Drupal< are three of the best know open source CMSs.  Some will integrate with forum software.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

Well, I tried Mambo and Drupal (and Post Nuke, and Tiki Wiki, and PHPWiki)
But I have not tried Plone. I will find that one next.

Thanks Rob!
