I use Ubuntu.  I find it the easiest of the 6 that I have tried.  Using a FTP server (vsftpd) is very simple with it.  Check it out, www.ubuntu.com

So to sum it it I would liek a linuz distribution that meets the following criteria:
- Has an easy to manage ftp server
- Easy to install
- Also if possible a live cd
- And a nice GUI interface if possible.

Thanks

P.S: A link to the download would be nice too  ;D

www.distrowatch.com  as a link to get any distribution you want.

The most Windows like is Linspire, but it's not free. Xandros is next, but it's not free.

Ubuntu is very popular and it is free. Great forum support as well. That and all of the others need a little more commitment to learn. Fedora, Mandriva and Vector are all top notch.

Xandros does happen to have a free trial though.  I don't know much about it, I don't even know if they offer that anymore.  But when I was looking they did.  ::)

EDIT:  Here is a link, they offer a 30 day free trial of the distro.

3.o had a "Community Edition" that was free, but limited. 4.0 is still a bit new for that. Maybe thery are trying the "30 day and it quits working" model now.
