    DirectX Happy Uninstall 3.88
    « on: October 23, 2006, 07:53:06 AM »
Last week I posted about having a DirectX problem. What I have installed is DirectX 9.0a and I have been trying to install 9.0c. I have been unable to install the new version because I have a corruput file in 9.0a  file ( dpnsvr.exe).
One of the responses I recieved  suggested that I delete DirectX using "DirectX Happy Uninstall 3.88." My question is how many have used this product and is it really safe for a novice like me to use it?

    Thanks All

You will also find IEradicator online at major geeks but,It is not for Windows 2000 or XP.

Sadly the true fix appears to be Format and reinstall.but backup, backup, backup. :-? ;D ;D ;D
