    windows media error

    ok last night i tried to play a dvd that ive played with WM already but i got this error so i just used another program..

    im thinking its a codec thing

    You can change the region of the DVD player Somewhere in the options section.

      Haven't got a clue. I never mess with those settings because you can only do it 3 times or so. I would recommend against using it at all.

      Its the kind of DVD... the DVD is for a differet country, with (ultimeltly) a different DVD format and DVD player... you should be able to search options...

            It could be a black market DVD or erroneously shipped to the wrong region.

            I am in favor of the road trip idea, however. Or just take it back.

              nay cuz it works just fine in my dvd players and with ithere media players but thats what you get for using an ms product especially as it comes free with the buggy os.
