can someone explain what 'windows auto media video file' is please. i have received an email message with an attachment requiring that file to be installed before the attachment can be viewed. i wondered if there was some catch in the file. thx in anticipation of a reply. walter.

If that were me I would delete it and scan my system regardless of whom it came from.
