I need help hooking two computers together
« on: November 04, 2006, 06:01:44 PM »
I have two computers I am trying to hook up to ONE monitor - due to space problems.  I have purchased a switch, and each computer has its own wireless keyboard and mouse.  But much of the time when I switch between the two computers, the keyboard will not work. Even if I change the channels on the devises the keyboard is not working correctly. Sometimes it does.  I am fairly new at this and don't have an idea where to begin to fix this problem.  Any help I can get is much appreciated.  Thanks, Shari

Is it a KVM switch you're talking about?

I use this for my setup and don't have any problems, though I don't use wireless.

I found the problem.  If I turn both computers on at the same time, the wireless setup fights and neither one works.
