Other than swapping out both the DVD drive and the Video card one at a time to find out i have no idea...

Components do go bad.

I figured it out guys...  I had to go into my device manager and switch the transfer mode over to DMA, it was on the slow transfer rate of PIO. Everything works great now! Thanks for all your help in trying to figure it out. ;)
