It will allow you to boot up and get to the logon screen where you select a user. (even if you normally boot straight into windows it will go to this screen)  Then when you try to log on it will say that you need to activate your Windows XP in order to continue.  You cannot go past this part without activating windows.  That's it.  Sorry to burst everyone's bubble and ruin the countdown, but there ya go.

Feel free to see the oh-so exciting prompt screen for yourself though.  It's, uh, enlightening :P

What was the "test"? To see if your post was accurate?

Do you doubt the accuracy of my post   The "test" was to see who, among the creme de la creme of CH posters would pick up the obviously intentional error.

We see a lot of errors that are not intentional. Who would have reason to believe that yours was any different?

We do enjoy getting factual information to work with. Otherwise it is a total  waste of our time.

I guess you failed that test.  :'(

You have to be crazy if you wait for them to lock your computer as I know all about this.  I wasn't even on line and I thought heck how would they know so I left it.  When the 30 days were up I tried turning my computer on and bang.....it was locked and locked good.....I had to format the hard drive all over again and then I had to put in windows 98 so that I could get it up and going again and all because I thought I would out smart them ( I wasnt on line they wouldnt know).  Bill Gates got hip to everyone burning windows 95,98 etc. and handing them out so when XP came out he decided to do something about it.  So if you want all that on your plate then just wait away, but you still have time so if I were you ACTIVATE the *censored* thing.........your own fault if you don't ..........

wow, this has to be the most senseless blob of jibberish i have EVER seen... im suprised my head didnt explode after reading all of this...

if you want to activate, activate by telephone, talk to the stupid she-bot, get transfered to an asian, tell them its a re-activation, or somthing, and get the comformation code (if its legit that is). and go on with your life, i think this senselessness has dragged on alittle too long.
