Thanks for the reply pcdoc4christ. I just don't understand why my VGA would be the faulty hardware I even updated my drivers to the latest about 2 days ago (a little bit after I reinstalled my OS) and still get the problem.

URW.  I'm not saying for certain it is the video controller.  You said: "I think it may be my graphic adapter" so i was taking you at your word.  To know for sure what the cause is, you will have to do some troubleshooting.  We can help you do this.

    No, I have not considered memtest because, the time that would take is beyond me. Is there maybe, a faster way.

    Running Memtest for a few hours won't cost you anything...throwing another Vid Card in however will...
