have you put  the graphics card in...or is it onboard?...and have you used the cdrom install disk for the mobo...and does the monitor have power and is switched on!

I donot think that booting without a videocard will get you very far..

Are you using both on-board and expansion videocards?

Issues with adding new video card to computer that has on-board video

Did the monitor work before?

it all worked before, all i did was switch out the hardware, MB, harddrives cdrom, floppy, etc... into the new tower, thats all i did, i tried the onboard video without my Readeon video card, and i tried it With the videocard, all my monitor does when i boot is blink (the light) it wont switch on... it's wierd

Try resetting your BIOS by either taking out the CMOS batterey for 10 seconds or shortcircuiting the CMOS jumpers.

try another monitor if you have one or borrow from from a mate...the monitor maybe faulty...to check this out disconnect  the cable from the monitor to the pc...<serial.>does the monitor display signal not found.?..if it does the fault is the vid/mobo

Raptor, the only things that kinda helps on that post, is that my computer does not beep. No post... maybe i have hooked up my motherboard incorrectly? such as the powersupply connection ? not shure.

Have you checked to see if all the cables are connected properly?

Did you take proper precautions when installing the components?

You may have damaged the mainboard whilst installing it.

Did you take the proper precautions?

Your on-board video card may need to be set using jumpers. Check your mainboard and manual to see if this is true.

Did you check to see if any Jumpers need to be set before you can use either videocards?

If you tell us the steps you took when installing the mainboard, we may be able to tell you what you have done wrong so you can prevent it from happening again.

so it couldne be any jumpers or anything like that, cuz ill i did was move the MB from one tower to another, so i might have shocked the MB while swapping? i have no clue.  gotta be a fried MB. although i CAN hear the HD's run when i boot it. but not monitor display :P

You should know if you damaged your mainboard. What steps did you take to prevent static discharge? Did you use the proper tools (Demagnetized ones preferably..)?

check that the mobo is clear of the case...and not earthing out  place the mobo in the cardboard box it came with and recheck all the wiring from the psu to the mobo you may have missed something....this may end up  as a soap...channel 5
