This makes me believe you have a install CD of windows that has
corrupt files on it.

Did you earlier mention having another install cd that was windows 98 SE?

Are you there,or out in the yard beating on the computer?

Sadly, when you do you may need to start all over with the floppy
disk.Remember fdisk,format ETC..?

It is not dark here yet only 5:14 Pm or 17:14 hours however you
keep time.

So,maybe you'll need to do everything over with the other disk.

Are you ready? You can't hurt anything.Until you get an operating
system installed....It really isn't a computer.

Okay put the disk we haven't been using in the CDrom drive.

Put the floppy disk in the floppy drive reboot remembering to
choose 1 boot with cdrom support.

When you come to A:\ prompt type  fdisk then press enter.

It appears your hard drive may be failing, or your floppy drive.

Remember we booted with a floppy disk when the first install
was going fine. Now the floppy disk don't work.

Can you make another floppy boot disk.

Is your BIOS set to boot from the floppy drive first.
