    Mic Won't Work

    I just bought a new mic and it won't work. I just re-installed my sound driver so does anyone have any suggestions on how I could fix this?

    do you have a soundcard or are you just plugging straight into the red input on mobo?

    You might want to try double-clicking on the Volume icon in your taskbar to open Volume Control.  Make sure Line In isn't muted.
