Are we still using the OT prefix for Off Topic threads? If not, I can delete this. The following is the content of an email a friend sent to me. I found it interesting and thought I'd post it here.

THE TRICK IS TO FIND THE MAN IN THE COFFEE BEANS:

This is bizarre - after you find the guy - it's so obvious. Once you find him - it's embarrassing, and you think, Why didn't I see him immediately?

Doctors have concluded that if you find the man in the coffee beans in 3 seconds, the right half of your brain is better developed than most people. If you find the man between 3 seconds and 1 minute, the right half of the brain is developed normally. If you find the man between 1 minute and 3 minutes, then the right half of your brain is functioning slowly and you need to eat more protein If you have not found the man after 3 minutes, the advice is to look for more of this type of exercise to make that part of the brain stronger!!!

And, yes, the man is really there!!!

I just looked at the pic again, only to discover where the REAL man is. I found this:

I thought it'd be something like that. No, I was wrong. Very wrong.

(It looked like a stick figure preparing to run or some stuff like that.)

Huh interesting. Found it in about 5-9sec. By the way no real need to do OT for off topic, I consider the other section to be where anything goes. If you guys would like I can however create sub boards under the other section for a place to talk off topic subjects.

Good one Peccavi (applaud). It's important to remember that not everything you get in an email is true

I was starting to get upset because it took me about 1 minute!

Still, it is an interesting exercise and can give an indication of your pattern-recognition.

Now you don't have to worry about not being able to find it since it's there's no official proof of it's validity. I really did not know that. As I said in my original post, I copied the content from an email; I had not seen that website.

No thanks. I am kidding. This is quite famous illusion and I have seen it long ago. (I could not see the face then, though

Good point. I'm sure many people approach this with different concepts of what the "man" might be, and this affects their search perspective. Is it the whole body of a person or just certain parts? Since coffee beans are small and a man is much larger, is the "man" superimposed over a large area of the image?
