        As long as it doesent take over the .swf format.
        There is one thing for sure:
        Microsoft will avoide being marked as a Monopoly, after what happened (I think it was in 1996. Nearly overthrew Apple)

          Their operating system became so popular, that Apple almost went out of business with the amount of people who were intelligent enough to use Microsoft. Microsoft was then called a Monopoly

            Thought I'd bump this post after watching the latest hype video on YouTube. Doesn't really demonstrate anything, but I guess it's fairly entertaining. Still think going up against Adobe Flash is an almost impossible task unless they've got something absolutely innovative (not just a re-invent).

            I think I saw that video on the Microsoft site.

            I took a look at the developers kit, it has its own assembly language any everything. (lame)
            It does have a program that you can get (standalone, or with a few other programs) sort of like the Macromedia Studio programs.
