Full screen dos! How can I set it back to minimized?
    « on: April 22, 2007, 01:49:46 AM »
A few days ago I've set my dos screen to full screen.
Now I've set it back to minimized. but when I'm running a program who uses DOS I always get a full black screen for a second than normal screen then again full black screen,... . This is very annoying because I keep doing this until the program is fully installed or loaded.

Does anyone knows how I can solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance Jonas.

I'm going to assume this is Windows XP. You can press Ctrl + Enter to maximize and shrink back to window mode. To make the window mode permanent shrink to window mode and right-click on the title bar (blue bar at the top) and click Properties.

Within the Properties window check either window or full screen depending on how you wish the window to be displayed when opened.

If you right click it on the task bar, you can go to Properties. There should be an option for full screen or not full screen.

          thats not the problem.
I will explain it otherwise: When I type in run for example "shutdown -s"
Than I first get a full black screen for a half of a second.
And my properties are set to minimized.

... When I type in run for example "shutdown -s"...
And my properties are set to minimized.

I don't quite get what you were trying to convey with these parts.

Try creating a batch file or run the command using the start and the /min command additional information at:
