REPLACEMENT OF MOTHER BOARD ON MY COMPUTER

the board of my sumsung computer  desktop has gone bad and was replaced  to new  another, but it seem the memory of the neww one is too low, how do i increase it and to what extent?
can someone pls help

    ok we need more info like specs on the machine

    OS
    cpu
    ram
    mobo name for both old and new
    etc

    Online memory seller, www.crucial.com, has a memory Advisor™ Tool.  You'll need to know the exact model of your motherboard.  Or, you might try The Crucial System Scanner.
