the sims: jumping screen?
« on: May 16, 2007, 04:17:35 AM »
i recently decided to revisit my collection of sims games and loaded
the sims
the sims: house party
the sims: vacation
the sims: superstar
onto my laptop (it meets all of the requirements for the game) but when i went into the game it looked like this:

the tool bars appear to be jumping around.
i tried re-installing superstar but it made no difference.
at first i was able to create a family and enter properties (although from there i could do nothing as there was no bottom toolbar and the image was scattered) but now if i click anything a box opens saying "nobody lives there... create a family... etc..."

any help would be appreciated!

check your drivers. i've had similar problems with many games and it usually turns out to be drivers of one thing or another ;) if not, then possibly version confliction.
