so i have firedaemon installed on my compter (don't know how it got there cause i sure as *censored* didn't install it)

Anyway i found the file itself but can't delete it because it is in use. So I go to task manager and try to "endprocess" but am denied.

how the heck do i get this thing off my computer?

You don't say what OS you are using but I'd say get into Safe Mode and try getting rid of it from there. Try pressing F8 during startup, when the POST screens come up. HTH
